WMAR-TV: JDog Brands Road Trip Raises Money for Deployed Troops
JDog Brands partners with the #RED Campaign and Soldier’s Angels in an effort to raise awareness for American troops deployed overseas.
A recent article published on WMAR-TV, the ABC affiliate in Baltimore, highlights the ongoing effort of JDog Brands to raise awareness and money for deployed troops through a partnership with the #RED Campaign and Soldier’s Angels. JDog Brands coordinated a road trip throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania to help raise public awareness of the #RED Campaign, which stands for Remember Everyone Deployed.
JDog Brands, the 270-unit home services franchisor behind both JDog Junk Removal & Hauling and JDog Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care, is widely recognized for its mission to lower the veteran unemployment rate below 1%. Now, the franchisor is on a new mission to encourage Americans to honor those deployed by wearing red shirts on Fridays.
"I think we as Americans go on with our lives every day without realizing that there are troops constantly deploying each week," said Jerry Flanagan, JDog Brands CEO and Veteran. “It only gets highlighted when there's a war or an invasion, but for the last 70 years, troops have been deployed around the world to protect us and our country.”
JDog Brands hopes to raise $10,000 by the end of May.
