WORKOUT ANYTIME*, the 24-hour, seven-day-a-week fitness concept, has announced the hiring of 27-year fitness veteran, Greg Maurer, as the vice president of fitness. Marking a first for the brand, Maurer will be responsible for the company’s implementation of a brand new personal training program at its gyms across the country.

“Greg is a dynamo in the world of commercial fitness,” said Steven Strickland, CEO and co-founder of WORKOUT ANYTIME. “Over the course of nearly 30 years, he has compiled a track record of unparalleled professional experience, from planning and building health clubs to developing and launching one-of-a-kind fitness products. We’re thrilled to have him join the WORKOUT ANYTIME team and can’t wait for our customers to benefit from his knowledge and the new program.”

Maurer has a 27-year track record of success in the commercial fitness industry, including working with several unique commercial fitness products and programs along with planning and building one of the largest and most visited single site health clubs in the country. Among Maurer’s many areas of expertise is the creation of exclusive personal training programs designed from the ground up to deliver results for health club members.

“Consumers want to tone up, lose weight and do it on a budget, and I’m going to help them do just that,” Maurer said. “Personal training is a unique addition to the core health club membership, with members getting results through trainers who provide the motivation and education they need to take their workouts up a notch. People don’t want to just buy a membership, they want to buy results.”

Maurer’s personal training regimen, which the company is branding as Accelerated Results, will trim the fat in more ways than one, with 30 minute workouts, which saves time while maximizing results. The program will feature high-intensity interval training to promote calorie burn, with clients utilizing heart rate monitors to provide trainers with personalized information to further tailor future workouts.

As a component of the Accelerated Results body transformation program, WORKOUT ANYTIME is partnering with Evolution Nutrition so trainers and their clients can create a nutrition guide and individualized diet designed to further improve results. The average 30 minute training session will only cost $25. Additionally, members who sign up for the personal training program will receive a complimentary one-hour fitness assessment.

“Each client is a unique individual, and this program is designed with that in mind,” Maurer said. “Clients won’t have to get fit on their own – they will now have a personalized support system in place to help ensure results.”

With Maurer joining the team, it’s clear that results are exactly what WORKOUT ANYTIME plans to deliver. Combining their proven model offering results-based fitness centers with the new Accelerated Results body transformation program, WORKOUT ANYTIME has a huge advantage in the fitness sphere, as the brand has territories available for purchase in every state and is able to continue providing new business opportunities for growth-minded franchisees. More than 60 percent of the franchisees in the system are multi-unit franchisees, seeing the huge potential in financial reward from operating multiple clubs. Furthermore, with experienced fitness veterans John Quattrocchi and Strickland at the helm of the company, WORKOUT ANYTIME is well-equipped to emerge as a frontrunner of value-price workout establishments.

WORKOUT ANYIME’s impressive growth potential is powered by a passionate and growing system of franchisees looking to introduce quality fitness centers to more communities, whether in existing or new markets. For example, in their home market of Atlanta, WORKOUT ANYTIME has opened more than 25 clubs. However, the brand is also exploring new territories, including top development markets —Alabama, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Texas and Washington — as well as opening its first club in Canada.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time to be working with a fitness franchise because the industry is booming more than ever,” Strickland said. “Our goal is to continue opening fitness locations throughout 2015 for the added convenience of our consumers, but also to provide additional business opportunities for our current and prospective franchisees.”
