<div id="pastingspan1">YouTube announced plans to implement a 360-degree livestreaming video support and spatial audio, helping give users a more immersive experience. The company rolled out the two new features at this year&#8217;s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Virtual reality and 360-degree videos have become one of the most popular things in the tech world. The features and the spatial audio support is designed to provide depth, distance and intensity, to make it feel like the listener is there. These new features are just not being relegated to older videos on the site&#8217;s database.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&#8220;What excites me most about 360-degree storytelling is that it lets us open up the world&#8217;s experiences to everyone. Students can now experience news events in the classroom as they unfold,&#8221; Neal Mohan, chief product officer for YouTube, told <a href="http://venturebeat.com/2016/04/18/youtube-inches-towards-vr-with-360-degree-livestreaming-and-spatial-audio/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=youtube-launching-vr-and-360-degree-livestreaming-support-to-create-immersive-experience-4314" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">VentureBeat</a>. &#8220;Travelers can experience faraway sites and explorers can deep-sea dive, all without the physical constraints of the real world. What were once limited experiences are now available to anyone, anywhere, at any time.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>VentureBeat reported that several companies, including VideoStitch and Two Big Ears are making their software compatible to these new features.&nbsp;Viewers will be able to stream 1440p videos at 60 frames per second.
