McDonald’s has announced that it is testing out cold brew coffee in stores throughout the San Diego market. According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, the brand is hoping to capitalize on the popularity of this coffee industry trend by offer two varieties: black or marble. The black cold brew is a traditional preparation while the marble includes syrup and cream for a sweeter option.

“San Diego is a city full of coffee lovers, so it’s an ideal place to test our McCafé Cold Brew Coffee. We were first in the country to test All Day Breakfast and we’re thrilled to continue bringing menu innovations to our San Diego customers,” said franchisee Jamie Straza.
