ATLANTA, GA – Workout Anytime, the 24-hour, seven-days-a-week fitness franchise with nearly 200 units open across the U.S., has crossed the mid-point of 2023 with strong momentum that it intends to carry through the end of the year. With five franchise agreements signed (three of which are multi-unit deals), another five units transferred to new ownership and four new clubs opened, the Workout Anytime franchise footprint just continues to grow.

“We continue to push the hometown model, which allows us to go into smaller markets where fitness access is incredibly limited,” explained Terri Harof, director of franchise development. “We also have a referral program for franchisees, so if they refer another franchise partner who comes on board with an agreement to open three or more locations, the original owner receives an incentive.”

The sheer number of referrals the corporate team is receiving speaks to the strength of the model.

“The crew that just signed at the end of June was a referral, and I’ve spoken to another referral who is potentially interested in opening dozens of units,” added Harof. “The program is great, and we’re glad that we can incentivize our franchisees to help us grow. If they were not happy, they certainly would not be referring other prospective owners to come talk to us.”

This year, five existing locations across North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia were also transferred to new ownership — another testament to the strength of the model. In addition to a positive ownership experience for its franchise partners, Workout Anytime has developed a model that allows owners to build something truly valuable that can be sold when an owner decides to retire or explore additional business ventures rather than letting a given location just fizzle out. The strength and passion of the owner are important to the success of the brand, but the Workout Anytime name and business model creates a level of sustainability that is otherwise hard to obtain.

As it looks to the remainder of the year, the concept is working to award a total of 60 new units. Workout Anytime is embracing an efficient growth strategy, looking to add units in new markets while also considering the value of building out its presence in geographies where it already has a strong reputation.

“Now that we have locations in Maryland and Virginia, for example, we tend to grow more organically,” said Harof. “Once we get the flagship location open, we’re able to grow exponentially, and it just makes sense to add more units. It also allows us to have one more local person supporting a centralized group of owners.”

With recovery suite options, a range of exercise equipment and a supportive, results-based environment, Workout Anytime has drawn in another 100,000+ members since the start of the year. Because it is an affordable option that delivers great value, it reliably draws in new members, and prospective franchise owners are noticing this ongoing success.

It is clear that demand for a gym model like Workout Anytime is high, and the gym is also targeting Arkansas, New Jersey, Texas, Florida, New Mexico, Arizona, West Virginia and Delaware for additional expansion as it works to fill the gap in local markets.

The startup costs for a Workout Anytime franchise range from $784,950 to $2,073,050 including the franchise fee. To learn more about franchising with Workout Anytime, visit https://workoutanytimefranchise.com/.
