Workout Anytime, the fitness franchise brand with more than 190 locations across the world, was ranked number 353 in this year’s Franchise Times “Top 400” list — the most comprehensive ranking of the 400 largest franchise systems in the United States. Workout Anytime has earned its spot based off of its global system sales, and joins major, reputable brands on this list, including McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A and Ace Hardware.

The brand’s growth over the last year is evident in its transition from the 380th spot last year to the 353th spot in 2023. This 27-spot climb over the course of one year indicates that this first-class, low-cost workout experience franchise is constantly growing and improving.

“We are really excited about this recognition and feel confident that our growth will continue going forward,” commented Dennis Holcom, senior vice president of franchise support.

Franchise Times uses a combination of companies’ voluntary reports, along with their most recent Franchise Disclosure Documents to determine rankings for the 400 largest franchise systems in the U.S. each year. To qualify for the ranking, companies must be a legal United States franchise with headquarters based in the United States or have at least 10% of the given brand’s total units located in the country, with at least 15% of the company’s total units counting as franchised units.

Since being founded in 1999, this 24/7 fitness brand that focuses on results-based workouts has sold over 100K new memberships and continues to be met with high demand. Workout Anytime leans into its efficient growth strategy, as it continues to add units in new markets, as well as increasing its presence in areas where the brand has an established, positive reputation.

“As a brand, we have worked hard to develop as a franchise, and we’ve been really strategic about our growth,” said Holcom. “This ranking is a testament to all of that hard work. We are proud of what we have accomplished, and we look forward to seeing what we accomplish in the future.”

The brand has a lot to offer franchisees, including a semi-absentee ownership option, corporate support and training, pre-negotiated real estate, and access to proprietary technology.
