Adweek: Here’s How Brands Should Be Using Facebook Live

Brands like Florida’s Natural, Lightricks and General Electric are engaging more consumers thanks to this social media platform.

Is your brand taking advantage of Facebook Live? The platform provides a variety of advantages, including more user engagement and real-time content creation. If you’re interested in stepping up your Facebook Live game, Adweek rounded up a list of three brands that are excelling with the platform.

The first brand is Florida’s Natural, which creates orange juice. Florida Natural partnered with Funny or Die to create a pulp, no pulp or some pulp debate, generating over 514,000 view and 7,500-plus engagements. Another brand that made Adweek’s top three is General Electric, which hosted a 360-degree livestream called “The Creators Circle” showing how social influencers used their bulb throughout the creative process. Lightricks, an app developer, is also killing it on Facebook Live, with videos designed to help people use their products better.

Daphne Kasriel-Alexander from Lightricks told Adweek in an interview, “We believe that what makes these Facebook Live tutorials unique is the genuine interaction between our app users and ourselves. We haven’t noticed competitors offering this, and we’re unsure why, as it’s so valuable all around.”
