KFC is selling a product designed to allow an individual to escape from technology this holiday season. According to a recent article in Adweek, the brand is offering an 'Internet Escape Pod' for $10,000 on its website. The pod is a metal dome designed to disrupt web signals and features an giant sculpture of Colonel Sanders across the top.

“We’ve come up with several technologically advanced, creative experiences for our customers and fans this year, but even we feel the burden of technology during the holiday season. So we decided to go in the opposite direction and create an anti-technology product, using technology, to help one lucky buyer literally escape the holiday chaos,” said advertising director George Felix.

How would one use this dome? The brand says it's ideal for escaping Cyber Monday alerts and Ugly Sweater Party invites amongst other holiday themed push notifications.
