McDonald’s CEO Steve Easterbrook is continuing to make changes to the iconic brand with his leadership. According to a recent Adweek article, the company plans to roll out table service to all U.S. restaurants next year.

Instead of queuing up after making your order at a kiosk, customers will go and take a seat to wait for their order to be delivered to them by an employee. So far, this new service has been tested in New York and Florida at around 500 locations.

"For the best part of our 60 year we've asked customers to fit around our business model. Now customers are more demanding and we are looking to adapt our business model," said Easterbrook.

Multiple fast food chains are continuing to shift and make changes to compete in the fast-casual space. By updating interiors and branding, KFC and Arby’s are hoping to change their image with consumers. McDonald’s has added self-serve kiosks for customers to be able to personalize their orders, along with the anticipated mobile ordering option to be available in 2017.
