Arby’s is looking to increase its presence across the country by tenfold as it recently signed a deal to add 70 units over a seven year span. The brand signed the deal with its largest franchisee United States Beef, according to Nation’s Restaurant News.

One of the key territories that will be standout in this new expansion is the Denver market. The brand will be doubling the amount of franchises in the area by opening 34 new units over the next seven years. The current plan is to open four franchises in 2016 – one in Aurora, Thornton and Denver. Greg Vojnoic, Arby’s chief development officer, said having U.S. Beef take on more franchises is a testament to the hard work they have put in over the years.

“As an Arby’s franchisee for nearly 50 years and the largest franchisee, with 331 restaurants, U.S. Beef continues to exemplify the gold standard when representing our brand,” said Vojnovic in the same story by Nation’s Restaurant News.

He went on to say U.S. Beef is also planning to open six restaurants in Kansas and Missouri, and there are future plans to open additional stores in Idaho, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and southwest Illinois.

U.S. Beef CEO John Davis said these new Arby’s restaurants will be smaller than the standard 2,800 to 3,000 square foot stores. Instead, they will be closer to 2,200 to 2,400 square feet in order to purchase a smaller lot.
