After discovering Caring Transitions through its online auctions, Jamie Davis left her corporate marketing career to open the brand's East Valley franchise.

Caring Transitions was recently featured in the Gilbert Sun News for its growing impact in Arizona and the inspiring story of local franchise owner Jamie Davis. A longtime digital marketer and online reseller, Davis discovered Caring Transitions through its CTBids online auction platform, where she often sourced items for her eBay store. Drawn to both the quality of the auctions and the mission behind them, she decided to open her own franchise in April, becoming the ninth Caring Transitions owner in Arizona.
Based in Gilbert, Davis now serves the East Valley — including Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek and San Tan Valley — helping families navigate major life changes such as downsizing, relocating or managing a loved one’s estate. Her team, made up primarily of retirees and stay-at-home parents, provides flexible, compassionate support through every step of the process — from sorting belongings and organizing online estate sales on CTBids, which has over 800,000 bidders nationwide, to coordinating donations and clean-outs.
For Davis, the business is deeply personal and purpose-driven. She has already assisted several families, including her own, and says the work has given her a sense of fulfillment and connection that her corporate career couldn’t. “It’s really about helping families that are in crisis,” she said. “We take that stress away.”
