Famous Toastery’s CEO Robert Maynard sat down virtually with Chip Klose of Restaurant Strategy Podcast, a marketing podcast for restaurant operators, to discuss how they’ve grown their breakfast, lunch and brunch chain across the Carolinas and East Coast. Maynard also spoke on how they pushed their franchise restaurants through the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’ve started first-party delivery and we’re looking to go deeper into that because I don’t think it’s going away,” Maynard said. “In the restaurant business, you have to find a way to get back on the saddle, and I think the new features of restaurants like first-party delivery, online ordering and curbside pickup and so on are here to stay.”
