The young brands were scored on the core criteria that set brands apart including innovative menus, hospitality, focusing on the experience, beverage offerings, ingredients, ambitions and commitment to building long-term relationships.&nbsp;&nbsp;

It should come as no surprise that <a href="http://franchise.chebahut.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=qsr-the-4040-list-americas-hottest-startup-fast-casuals-2707183" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Cheba Hut</a> made the list for their offbeat culture which centers around marijuana-themed sandwich names and decor.&nbsp;The brand currently has 20 units open in the U.S. and $30 million in annual sales. Locations are encouraged to embrace local culture, serving local craft brews at the full bar and hiring local artists to design a unique&nbsp;mural for each shop. With a goal to open five to 10 units per year, the brand is poised for continued growth.&nbsp;
