Harrisburg is preparing to host its first <a href="http://checkersfranchising.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=central-penn-business-journal-harrisburg-pennsylvania-welcomes-first-checkers-restaurant-6238" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Checkers</a> restaurant, with more likely on the way.&nbsp;

Jimy Patel owns several different franchise locations in Central Pennsylvania, but is readying his first <a href="http://checkers.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=central-penn-business-journal-harrisburg-pennsylvania-welcomes-first-checkers-restaurant-6238" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Checkers</a> unit in Harrisburg. He&#39;s awaiting the final inspections of his shop that&#39;s set to open later this month at the Harrisburg Mall.&nbsp;

Jimy and is uncle Ken each have been in the restaurant business for quite some time and are prepared to continue developing Checkers locations in the area.&nbsp;

According to Jimy, if this first location goes smoothly, the duo is prepared to open more and foresee Harrisburg fitting two more units.&nbsp;
