CNBC: Pizza Hut Plans to Open More Stores, Create 11,000 Jobs

In an effort to expand the brand's presence in the U.S., Pizza Hut will be hiring 11,000 new employees.

Pizza Hut wants to expand in the U.S. and hopes to hire thousands of new employees in the process. According to a recent CNBC article, the brand will be hiring 11,000 new pizza makers, delivery drivers and store managers in order to expand to 8,500 stores across the country over the next few years.

"While we don't have a set deadline, we know we are headed into one of our more busy times of the year and our restaurants across the country are working hard to hire team members that will deliver a quick and reliable pizza experience for pizza lovers nationwide," Kelly McCulloch, Pizza Hut's senior director of human resources, told CNBC.

Along with new jobs, Pizza Hut will offer the new hires 50 percent off tuition at Excelsior College to continue to enhance their career with educational courses.
