Fast Casual: Cauldron Ice Cream opens first San Diego Location

According to Fast Casual, Cauldron Ice Cream is opening its first San Diego location this Saturday – June 9, 2018 – as they continue to put their own spin on everything ice-cream.

The Orange County, CA-based ice-cream shop has taken their creative cone technique to the next level. Cauldron Ice Cream is famous for their Puffle Cone, an egg-based waffle cone inspired by the popular Hong Kong street snack, as well as their handcrafted and uniquely flavored nitrogen ice-cream.

San Diego franchisee James Ho stated in the press release surrounding the opening, "We want to make a splash with this community since it is Cauldron’s first introduction to San Diego residents." The Convoy street store is the first of three units to be opened across San Diego County by franchising group, Cauldron Collective.

Cauldron offers customers a unique experience by using liquid nitrogen to create their handmade ice cream, which is consistently creamy and full of flavor. An immediate social media and internet sensation, Cauldron Ice Cream continues to wow their customer by introducing new and innovative flavor each month.
