In-home care franchise ComForCare acquires senior placement franchise to expand into older adult care space.

After bringing on a new CEO, ComForCare has acquired CarePatrol, bringing the brand one step closer to accomplishing its strategic growth plan. According to a recent Franchise Times article, the senior placement franchise, CarePatrol, has 150 franchise partners in 40 states, Canada and the U.K. ComForCare has been looking to add older adult care services ever since its own acquisition by The Riverside Company in July of last year.
“CarePatrol is a great fit for ComForCare and the people both companies serve,” said Riverside partner Brian Sauer. “It expands the companies’ collective reach, but also enhances capabilities and provides an excellent platform for continued growth. This addition to the ComForCare platform is the first step in realizing an aggressive growth strategy in this space.”
The announcement comes one month after new ComForCare CEO Steve Greenbaum came on board and founder of the brand, Mark Armstrong, became chairman of the board.
