Griswold Home Care, the non-medical, in-home senior care franchise company with 170-plus units across the U.S., is looking to expand in Charlotte, North Carolina. Over the past few years, the COVID-19 pandemic has created a greater need for Griswold's in-home care, and that need has been exacerbated by a rapidly increasingly senior population in the United States. Now, Griswold Home Care is looking to fill this demand in cities across the country, and is specifically eyeing Charlotte as a prime target market.

“We’re excited to expand the Griswold Home Care footprint into the Charlotte market,” said Brian Hill, franchise development manager of Griswold Home Care. “North Carolina has already proven to be a hugely successful state for our business model, and we know the Charlotte area would benefit from our services as many look to retire in the thriving and affordable community that the city offers. The demographic area also shows that with the aging population, this is prime territory for another successful Griswold location.”

Charlotte has been named a top place to retire in North Carolina by U.S. News & World Report. The Charlotte metropolitan area is one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the country, and North Carolina itself is one of the nation’s fastest-growing states. Additionally, Griswold Home Care has already proven to be a great fit for the state, as it currently has eight successful locations and the capacity for five more.

Similarly, AARP reports by the year 2040, about 20% of the population will be 65 years or older. The Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA) also reports there will be 27 million people in need of long-term care by 2050, double the number who required these services in 2000.

Elderly adults and adults with disabilities or illnesses have many unique needs, which is why Griswold Home Care offers a wide variety of services to accommodate their clients. The brand’s care plans are customized to fit each client and can be adjusted as their needs change over time. The home care services include homemaking, personal care, companion care, hospice care, respite care, live-in overnight care and more.

Griswold Home Services offers its franchisees broad support and a proven business model as it focuses on providing home care to the elderly and those with illnesses and disabilities.

Now, fueled by strong momentum in 2021, Griswold Home Care is looking to sign 15 franchise locations in 2022. As Griswold Home Care gears up for strategic franchise growth, compassionate, empathetic individuals in Charlotte and beyond have the opportunity to join a proven brand, take control of their destiny and give back to the people in their community.

“For 40 years, we’ve remained at the forefront of the home care industry and have been setting the industry standard as we expand across the country,” said Hill. “Now more than ever, there are people in need throughout every community, and our franchise opportunity allows passionate entrepreneurs to provide that helping hand while also building a bright future for themselves.”

The cost to open a Griswold Home Care franchise ranges from $108,181 to $181,431, including a $49,500 franchise fee. For more information on franchising with Griswold Home Care, visit https://www.griswoldhomecare.com/franchising/.
