Home Clean Heroes may be a relatively new business, however, it does know a thing or two about the industry thanks to its parent company Buzz Franchise Brands. Since Home Clean Heroes’ inception in 2017, the residential cleaning business has provided a modern approach to the otherwise traditional industry. The brand is able to capitalize on its  parent company’s industry knowledge and tried-and-true processes.

Buzz Franchise Brands currently has a portfolio of three brands under its umbrella including Home Clean Heroes, Pool Scouts and most recently, British Swim School. It puts a strong focus on being the best provider of quality home services while enabling franchisees to realize their dreams of owning their own business. For Home Clean Heroes, being part of a multi-brand franchisor of this magnitude allows it to provide franchisees with top-notch training and support from the executive team as well as a scalable, best-in-class and efficient operating system.

Since joining the Buzz family, Home Clean Heroes has been able to develop a robust training program that is unmatched in the industry. “Home Clean Heroes was able to learn what our other local operations did to prepare their franchisees for owning a new business,” said Denise Morris, Vice President of Franchise Operations at Home Clean Heroes . “We didn’t have to start from scratch. When it came to developing a training program that would set franchisees up for success from the get-go, Buzz Franchise Brands had already paved the way to success for us.”

Before franchisees arrive for in-person training at the Home Clean Heroes headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia, they complete an extensive 20-hour online course designed to provide  important information about the various aspects of the business. After completing the online training, franchisees enroll in a two-week on-site training course, where, according to Morris, they get an immersive experience with the brand. “Because we have our local operations here in Virginia Beach, franchisees get to see the day-to-day tasks of each aspect of the business,” she said. “They get to sit with the office managers, ride along with the cleaners and begin interacting with customers.”

After the two-week on-site course is completed, the franchisees head home and begin the on-boarding process under the guidance of the executive team. “The support Home Clean Heroes provides franchisees is second-to-none,” Morris said.

Home Clean Heroes supports its franchisees by providing a business coach to help with hiring, budgets and operational issues; marketing support that acts as an in-house agency; and call center support to ensure no call goes unanswered. They also organize an annual Hero Convention to encourage collaboration between executives and franchisees.

In addition to training and support, Home Clean Heroes provides franchisees with an efficient and scalable system, thanks to Buzz Brand’s proven processes. In terms of efficiency, Buzz Brands has been able to develop the best practices in routing for the home cleaning service. “Buzz figured out what worked and what didn’t and the best ways for our cleaners to make the most of their days. You are not making money behind the windshield, spending all of your time driving. You are making money in the customer’s home and Buzz did the leg work for us to ensure our cleaners get through their routes as efficiently as possible.”

Furthermore, Home Clean Heroes provides franchisees with a scalable business model. The home cleaning industry is worth $6.05 billion and, according to Morris, it is largely fragmented with a lot of untapped territories. This creates significant opportunities for prospective franchisees to get their feet in the door and hit the ground running. In addition to its scalability, Home Clean Heroes is a brand that presents a lot of opportunities for recurring revenue. Home cleaning is rarely a one-time occurrence, Morris noted. “Home cleaning is needed year-round, and with the rise of dual-income households, the need for recurring cleaning services keeps the profit range pretty high for franchisees,” she said.

Morris touts the value of Home Clean Heroes being part of a multi-brand franchisor. “Because all of the operations are local and within such a close distance to each other, we [all three brands under the Buzz Franchise umbrella] are able to really work together and learn from each other,” she said. “We have our systems and company structure that we share across brands when it comes to training and supporting our franchises and building strong and efficient businesses.”

Going forward, Home Clean Heroes is well positioned to successfully evolve its growth strategy, largely due to the strong foundations laid by industry veteran Buzz Franchise Brands. Home Clean Heroes has ambitious plans for growth, and according to Morris, the franchise has a large number of prospects and several few discovery days scheduled going into the new year.

The startup costs for a Home Clean Heroes franchise range from $78,295 to $132,588, which includes a $30,000 franchise fee (reduced to $10,000 for Charter League members). To learn more about franchising with Home Clean Heroes, visit https://homecleanheroes.com/franchise-opportunity/
