In the process, the brand created more value for franchisees and guests while building up a legion of super fans who relied on the creative workouts during the lockdown.REGYMEN has always taken a high-tech approach to fitness. The brand uses heart rate monitors and analytics to deliver personalized goals and stunning results for its clients, but once gyms closed down, the brand<a href="https://1851franchise.com/regymenfitness/regymen-fitness-powers-through-pandemic-with-the-opening-of-five-new-locations-2714396#stories">&nbsp;had to be quick on its feet to keep its fans engaged</a>.At REGYMEN, that meant vastly accelerating its existing plans to create an all-inclusive user experience for its clients.“Within a day of frantically texting and emailing each other, we were able to get live workouts going on Facebook live with our best coaches. We were brainstorming and ended up in one of our Baton Rouge locations filming some of our workouts for members to watch and do. By the end of the day, we were sharing it live on Facebook. We used everything from laundry detergent to bookbags and books for weights and resistance and had our head coaches helping us design the workouts,” said<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/quinton-gray-621359136/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=how-regymen-fitness-created-an-entire-online-business-for-franchisees-during-the-pandemic-2715773" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">&nbsp;Quinton Gray</a>, the brand’s manager of programming and education.But after the brand transitioned online, it didn’t rest. Instead, the brand continued to build out new online modes for its members to reach its services, and in doing so, REGYMEN revolutionized itself into something more than just a gym.<h4 style="margin-left:0in;">REGYMEN’s AllAccess and REGYMEN Raw Add Value for Franchisees</h4>REGYMEN’s corporate leaders knew they’d need to continually innovate to help their brand survive the pandemic, so they stepped in and created a whole online universe of workout content and invited their franchisees to share it with the guests.That’s how AllAccess was born. Now, REGYMEN members can access daily live workouts created by trainers, a library of old workouts and REGYMEN Raw, a filmed loop of the workout they can view on movement screens. This means fans of REGYMEN will never have to go without guided workouts. They can have a trainer watch them in the comfort of their own living room, watch an old workout or play a particular movement over and over again on a screen to guide them.“We provided our franchisees not only a workout but also a system to access those virtual workouts. The franchisees didn’t need to do any legwork. They didn’t need to think about where to film workouts or how to pay the coach. By providing our franchisees access to this, we helped solidify our relationships,” said<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/scott-russell-9a315bbb/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=how-regymen-fitness-created-an-entire-online-business-for-franchisees-during-the-pandemic-2715773" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">&nbsp;Scott Russell</a>, director of coaches development and culture at REGYMEN. “We tried lots of fun things and got a ton of good feedback. When we ran the Rona 5k, a paid event where members individually ran a 5k and we gave out prizes at all the participating locations, it was great to see our franchisees jump on it.”The AllAccess content is easy to use for REGYMEN members, as it appears on the main app and is included in their membership. For franchisees, the AllAccess content provides an additional revenue stream as new members can sign up for just the streaming content.Overall, the COVID-19 crisis brought REGYMEN to the future of workouts in the pandemic era. While popular brands like Orange Theory are still stuck to the classes model, REGYMEN figured out how to free up its gym for open workouts, allowing members to come and go as they please.“AllAccess was really born out of COVID-19, but it does add more value to what we do and what we provide franchisees and members,” said<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/leah-seacrest-60836171/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=how-regymen-fitness-created-an-entire-online-business-for-franchisees-during-the-pandemic-2715773" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">&nbsp;Leah Seacrest</a>, the brand’s VP of fitness. “We’ve seen post-lockdown that you can’t really have one source for your community and brand, and it allowed us to expand ourselves through screens or apps and have guests come in on off-hours.”<h4 style="margin-left:0in;">How Pandemic Workouts Fit With In-Studio</h4>Now that life is slowly returning to normal, REGYMEN is happy to welcome its members back into the studio with a new, more engaging system of workouts that caters to all members, no matter how COVID-19-cautious they are.“Thanks to REGYMEN Raw, our members can come in at any time now and follow along with our movement screens to get a great workout,” said Gray. “With Regymen Raw, members can still get the same great guided workout they would receive in a class setting, only now they can come in the studio at any time without scheduling. For those members who are uncomfortable with potentially larger class sizes, they can still benefit from the same workouts on their own time.”But the addition of online content hasn’t been the only change. Now, REGYMEN studios have clever ways of reducing contact and keeping members safe.“After COVID, we decided to eliminate rotation, where members would rotate between stations and use the same equipment,” said Russell. “Now, there’s no rotation so we can program the workouts a little longer.”Also, the brand introduced a new pillar of its workout offerings. REGYMEN has always offered Burn, Build and Box classes, but now they’ve found room for a class called Blast. This class uses the vacant treadmills in the Build class to get more members in the studio and increase capacity for franchisees.“Our members have loved Blast,” said Russell. “We launched it across all studios. One thing they like about it is it’s 30 minutes in and out. There’s a bunch of other people in the room, but they get their own area and don’t need to wait for coaches or demos thanks to the movement screens.”As REGYMEN grows across the country, aspiring franchisees should take note of the brand’s nimble and innovative model before markets fill up.&nbsp;
