Consumers are thinking differently about wellness than they were a decade ago. Instead of treating health as something to address after a problem appears, many are looking for ways to maintain their energy, recovery and overall well-being before issues arise. Hydrate IV Bar has positioned itself at the center of that shift by creating a franchise model that combines medically supervised IV therapy with the hospitality-driven experience consumers expect from today's wellness brands.

Founded in 2016 and franchising since 2020, the brand has grown to 30 locations while building a business designed around recurring memberships, clinical oversight and continuous innovation driven by customer feedback.

"We sit at the intersection of health care, wellness and hospitality," said Amy Dickerson, managing partner at Hydrate IV Bar. "We've created a membership-based wellness model that provides medically supervised IV therapy and wellness services in a spa-like atmosphere. It gives consumers a proactive approach to wellness while creating a recurring revenue model for franchise owners."

Bridging the Gap Between Health Care and Wellness

More people want wellness to become part of their routine instead of something they think about only after they get sick. Hydrate IV Bar was created to meet that demand with treatments administered by registered nurses under medical supervision in a setting designed to feel welcoming rather than clinical.

"We're seeing a huge movement where people are becoming much more proactive about their wellness," Dickerson said. "They're no longer waiting until they don't feel well to do something about it. They want wellness to be part of their everyday lives."

Every treatment is administered by experienced registered nurses under medical supervision, but the experience feels far removed from a traditional medical office. Clients relax in a spa-like setting that makes IV therapy feel comfortable and approachable.

Innovation Driven by Members

Hydrate IV Bar looks to its members when considering what to introduce next. The company, which has sold more than 10,000 memberships, regularly asks customers which therapies, services and experiences they want to see added. Their responses help guide new offerings and keep the brand in step with changing preferences.

"We're constantly evaluating new therapies while continuing to make wellness more accessible," Dickerson said. "Because we have such a strong membership base, we're able to go directly to our members and ask what they're looking for and what direction they'd like to see the brand move."

The company also continues to invest in clinical oversight, technology and operational support as it expands its services.

Corporate Locations Keep Innovation Moving

The company also owns five corporate locations, which lets the leadership team try new services and fine-tune operations before rolling anything out across the franchise system.

"Our corporate locations are really our test kitchen," Dickerson said. "We work through the entire service cycle there first. Once we know something delivers the level of experience we want for our members, then we launch it across the franchise system."

That allows franchise owners to benefit from proven processes rather than experimenting on their own while ensuring new initiatives have already been refined before rollout.

Built Around Recurring Revenue

Hydrate IV Bar’s membership model gives franchisees a steady base of repeat business in a growing wellness category. According to the company’s 2026 Franchise Disclosure Document, memberships generate about 44% of revenue at reporting locations. Those locations also reported average gross revenue of nearly $750,000.

"We offer entrepreneurs an opportunity to enter a very fast-growing industry with a proven business model," she said. "The membership model creates recurring revenue, and because we operate corporate locations ourselves, we're constantly improving the systems and support we provide our franchise owners."

Positioned for the Future of Wellness

Looking ahead, Dickerson expects demand for personalized wellness services to continue growing as consumers place greater emphasis on energy, recovery and longevity. She also sees increasing interest from entrepreneurs seeking service businesses with strong unit economics, recurring revenue and meaningful customer relationships.

"We're seeing people become much more focused on optimizing their health, recovery and longevity," Dickerson said. "Consumers are looking for businesses that combine convenience, personalization and exceptional service.”

As preventive wellness becomes more mainstream, Hydrate IV Bar aims to continue expanding by listening closely to members, refining its services through its corporate locations and helping franchise owners build businesses around long-term customer relationships rather than one-time transactions.
