Renew Crew, a power washing franchise, is participating in food and supply donations through Kid’s Lift, the nonprofit organization of its parent company, Premium Service Brands. Paul Flick, founder and CEO of Premium Service Brands, wrote in a recent post on IFA’s FranBlog about the efforts Kid’s Lift has put forth during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide meals to Albemarle County students in their home market of Charlottesville, Virginia.

“To aid children and families who may be in need of supplies during the pandemic, the nonprofit has donated 200 bags of food over two sessions — once immediately following the closure of schools, filling 80 backpacks of meals for students, and again as the shutdown continued, with the donation of an additional 120 bags of food,” writes Flick.

To support these efforts, Renew Crew is encouraging franchisees across the country to participate in similar collections within their local markets. Kids Lift is also continuing their donations with a Virtual Food Drive launched through their email network and Amazon Wish List, which includes food and essential items that aren’t covered by food stamps, like diapers.
