IFA Live: NextGen Winners Compete in “FranShark” Event to Conclude Conference

Young Entrepreneurs Given Stage to Present Franchise Opportunity

To conclude the International Franchise Association’s annual convention, three young entrepreneurs were given the stage to present their business ideas/sales pitches to a panel of experts, including newly appointed Chairman of the IFA, Aziz Hashim, CEO of NRD Capital, and David McKinnon, Chairman of Trinity Capital.

Each NextGen finalist, Paleo Café, Belfwi and (the winner) Spray-Net, were given five minutes to present their business opportunity to the panel – and the remaining crowd of nearly 3,000 franchise executives and leaders.
 
This event marked a significant turn for the IFA, as the old guard started recognizing the next big thing in franchising and giving entrepreneurs with big ideas the chance to showcase that experience is valuable, but energy is alive and well within the up and coming community.
