JDog Brands, the Veteran-centric parent franchisor to both JDog Junk Removal & Hauling and JDog Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care, is looking to Indianapolis for further expansion. With nearly 300 active territories nationwide and two already established in the state, the concept is continuing along a strong growth trajectory as it supports Veterans and military families in their transition to civilian life after retirement.
“We’re looking forward to branching out into these new territories and opening our doors to new communities,” said JDog Brands CEO and Founder Jerry Flanagan. “We value our relationship with Veterans, and firmly believe this expansion will allow us to reach even more Veterans from additional communities.”
Each operating JDog territory has the potential to create five new jobs, meaning the concept will bring dozens more employment opportunities to the community as it grows. Though there is one territory already established in Indianapolis, JDog leadership says it is looking to add eight more.
In addition to the two successful JDog operations in the state, JDog Junk Removal & Hauling President and COO Kevin Kopa says the market has proven to be strong for the JDog business model and its offerings as a whole.
“The Indianapolis market is strong, and we see a high prevalence of national competitors in the area,” he explained. “JDog looks forward to growing in the market to address persistent demand while leveraging our mission-driven model for further differentiation.”
“People think franchises just want you to pay them money, then feed you to the wolves,” said Anthony Neubauer, an Indiana JDog Junk Removal & Hauling owner. “With JDog, that’s not the case. They really care about you and want you to succeed. It reminds me of the exact type of brotherhood we had in the military.”
Though Neubauer is currently operating a single territory in Noblesville, Indiana, he says he’s looking forward to continued growth and making an impact on the community.
“I want people to see our logo and choose us for their services rather than a big corporate company,” he said.
In 2022, JDog Brands made great progress toward its goal of decreasing Veteran unemployment, signing a total of 66 new deals. Because the concept has carved out a niche in the market and presents key differentiators including top-notch customer service and an emphasis on its person-first mission, its owners are prepared to take advantage of high demand in the $500 billion and growing home services market.
