JDog Brands, the parent franchisor to both JDog Junk Removal & Hauling and JDog Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care, is celebrating National Veterans and Military Families Month a bit differently this year. As the concept continues along an impressive growth trajectory, the JDog franchise system is celebrating both the Veterans and Military families who have already joined the network and sending a warm welcome to its newest members.

“We have seen great growth this year. Going into National Veterans and Military Families Month with over 50 new franchise agreements signed this year is monumental,” said Jerry Flanagan, founder and CEO of JDog Brands. “Every new franchise agreement is an opportunity to support a fellow Veteran and empower them to support the Veteran community in their area.”

In 2021, the Veteran unemployment rate was 4.4%. As JDog expands its network nationwide, it is creating countless opportunities to support Veterans as they transition back to civilian life, making meaningful progress toward decreasing Veteran unemployment below 1%. But the brand’s work doesn’t stop there.

Because JDog Brands is a fully Veteran and military family-owned and operated enterprise, its franchise support systems are tailored specifically to better meet the needs of Veterans and Military families. In addition to industry-standard training, marketing and sales support, franchise owners and their families have access to things like JDog Spouses, a support system for the family partners of JDog owners.

JDog Spouses is led by JDog co-founder, Tracy “Mrs. JDog” Flanagan, and serves as a space for JDog family members to share best practices, discuss growth, and provide guidance and support as each member navigates the challenges associated with balancing family and entrepreneurship.

“Recently, I realized that I wanted to do my own thing and start my own business,” said Max Johnson, a JDog Junk Hauling & Removal owner in Michigan. “I liked the idea of franchising because JDog offers a great business model that is proven to be successful. I found that the JDog community was a perfect fit for me. I loved serving in the US Navy and continue to serve in different roles, but now I’m looking forward to serving my community as a business owner and helping veterans.”

Franchisees also have an opportunity to be involved with The JDog Foundation, the brand’s charitable offshoot, which works to develop and implement programs and services that support Veterans and Veteran-related groups. The foundation also provides funding and other assistance to individuals and organizations with preexisting Veteran-centric programs and efforts.

As the nation’s largest Veteran franchise with nearly 300 active territories, JDog Brands has fully embraced its “For Veterans, By Veterans” slogan and is actively working to save lives, one Veteran at a time.

Through its continued growth, the concept has created hundreds of jobs — this year alone — for Veterans and military families who have signed as new franchisees. Each of these businesses will employ, on average, 3-5 Veterans while providing additional support and connection to Veteran communities on a local level.

Looking forward, JDog Brands intends to expand its presence in Salt Lake City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Raleigh, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and more with a goal of exceeding 300 territories by the end of 2023.

The total investment necessary to begin the operation of a JDog Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care ranges from $37,909 to $169,947, including a $10,000-$25,000 franchise fee. The total investment necessary to begin the operation of a JDog Junk Removal & Hauling ranges from $30,000 to $110,000, including a $35,000 franchise fee.  For more information on franchising with JDog, visit https://www.jdogbrands.com/own-a-franchise.
