JDog Brands Sees Incredible Success in Q3 of 2022, Continues Mission to Lower Veteran Unemployment to Under 1%
The parent company of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling and JDog Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care is well-positioned for a successful end of the year.
JDog Brands, the parent company of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling and JDog Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care, was founded to provide business opportunities to Veterans and their families. In Q3, the brand signed 13 agreements in 13 territories, making the total number of agreements signed year-to-date 52.
This year, the brand approached the 300 franchise territory mark, making JDog Brands the world’s largest Veteran franchise system. JDog Brands has expanded into Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Cleveland, Ohio; San Antonio, Texas; Virginia Beach, Virginia; Green Bay, Wisconsin; Plymouth, Massachusetts; Orlando, Florida; El Paso, Texas; and more.
“We couldn’t be more proud of the success we’ve experienced this quarter,” said Jerry Flanagan, CEO and co-founder of JDog Brands. “With each agreement signed, we can reach more Veterans with employment opportunities and find more ways to help local organizations that give back to Veterans in these communities. We’re looking forward to what’s to come as we close out 2022 and enter another year.”
One exciting development during the quarter was the launch of JDog Brands’ new podcast, Tactical Treasures, which shares the stories of Veterans and military family members. Listeners can tune in to hear host Tracy Flanagan, co-founder and senior vice president of JDog Brands, interview voices in the military space biweekly about specific objects or moments in time that they turned into `tactical treasures' for their military careers, businesses or lives.
"The podcast has turned into an awesome platform to give Veterans and military spouses a space to talk about military service and how they're continuing to serve their communities post-service, whether that means launching a business or writing a book,” said Flanagan.
Additionally, the brand’s TV show, Operation Hidden Treasures which originally launched on Discovery in 2021, was re-released on VET Tv in September. Operation Hidden Treasures follows enterprising U.S. military Veterans and their families whose mission is to salvage and repurpose otherwise unused items and turn them into ‘hidden treasures’ for people in need. In every episode, two Veteran teams from JDog Junk Removal and Hauling look to recycle or repurpose as much as 80% of the objects their teams pick up from each job — with unexpected items embarking on a new journey to benefit a family or person in need.
The success and growth during Q3 can be attributed to a combination of demand within the industry and the incredibly strong support network and processes the JDog team has established. As the multi-brand franchisor leverages its current momentum, it is working to pass the 600-unit mark, adding thousands of Veterans to the workforce.
Looking ahead to Q4 and the start of 2023, the multi-brand franchisor is planning to leverage its current momentum to welcome additional franchisees to the network while continuing to provide community support and involvement to help Veterans and their families thrive.
The total investment necessary to operate a JDog Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care ranges from $37,909 to $169,947, including a $10,000-$25,000 franchise fee.
