Kelly Trim Joins Premium Service Brands as Vice President of Franchise Development for Maid Right
With the home-cleaning segment booming, Trim will ensure that the experienced team works seamlessly together to support existing franchisees and to recruit growth-minded new owners.
Maid Right, a 20-unit franchise backed by the leader in home services franchising, Premium Service Brands, is one of the nation's leading residential and commercial cleaning service franchises. Now, to help achieve the goal of doubling in size by the end of 2020, the brand is expanding its leadership team with the hire of franchise-industry veteran Kelly Trim as vice president of franchise development.
Trim spent her career in and around small businesses, as an employee, consultant and through owning her own business. In 2014 she joined a local franchise consulting team in Atlanta and fell in love with franchising.
“My work in the franchise consulting arena gave me exposure to hundreds of franchise brands across dozens of industries,” said Trim. “Time and again, one company and one segment stood out. It was Premium Service Brands and the steadfast residential services space. When the pandemic hit and so many small businesses were shut down, the essential services just kept on going. I reached out to my friends at Premium Service Brands. Fast forward to late summer and here I am, representing Maid Right, a high-demand, essential, flexible, recurring revenue business with plenty of prime open territory. You couldn't ask for more in a franchise opportunity.”
Trim’s new role will be as the vice president of franchise development for Maid Right. Backed by the team at Premium Service Brands, which boasts hundreds of years of combined experience in home services, Trim notes that Maid Right offers prospects all the benefits of small business ownership with the support of a larger, established brand. Now, with cleaning and disinfecting more top of mind than ever before, people want clean, sanitary, safe places to live, work and play, and Maid Right delivers on all fronts.
“I deeply appreciate the unique challenges and rewards of business ownership,” said Trim. “Starting your own business from scratch is a difficult, time-consuming and risky undertaking. Investing in a franchise opportunity, such as Maid Right, eliminates many of those challenges. Plus, the cleaning industry nationwide is experiencing explosive growth as people continue to spend more time in their homes.”
Trim notes that the brand has spent several months building the Maid Right team both from the development side and in its operations support. “My role is to ensure that our experienced team works seamlessly together to support our existing franchisees and to recruit growth-minded new owners,” she said. “We are dedicated full-time to recruiting, training, launching and supporting franchisees. We aim to double the number of Maid Right franchisees in 2020.”
Other recent hires on the Premium Service Brands franchise development team include Terrance Roberts, vice president of franchise development for ProLift Garage Doors*, and Luke Schulte, vice president of franchise development for Premium Service Brands.
With these new franchise development leaders, Premium Service Brands is ready to continue its expansion across the U.S. and Canada. “Premium Service Brands continues to grow, especially amid a surge in demand for home services following the COVID-19 pandemic,” said CEO Paul Flick. “We want to maintain the steady performance we've held throughout the year and apply it to the future to continue growing and create something that is revolutionary in the franchising space. Hiring these seasoned leaders will help support that growth as we continue to find qualified prospects to join the Premium Service Brands family.”
Trim is an Atlanta native and proud graduate of the University of Georgia. She's the mother of twins and married to Robert, a commercial real estate developer and entrepreneur. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys endurance sports, volunteering in her community and spending time with her two dogs.
The investment for a Maid Right franchise is $99,375 to $141,500, which includes the initial franchise fee of $62,500. For more information, visit: https://www.premiumservicebrands.com/maid-right/.
