A new “pooper scooper” franchise has arrived in Bryan-College Station to help make lives easier for pet parents in the community. Scoop Soldiers opened its doors in Bryan-College Station with its newest franchisee, Michael Brecht at 511 Thornton Ct. College Station, TX on May 9th.

“We're thrilled to bring Scoop Soldiers to Bryan-College Station alongside Brect," said Josh Cahill, Scoop Soldiers’ CEO. “Our brand has become a premier player in the growing ‘pooper scooper’ services segment. As demand for our services continues to grow, we’re excited to see Brect bring our business model to life in College Station.”

Brecht has been in the oil and gas industry for the last decade and has lived in College Station since 1997, but is now looking forward to launching his own business with the help of the Scoop Soldiers franchise to give back to the community he calls home. There’s strong demand for the brand’s services in the area as well — Texas has 5.88 million pet-owning households. This makes Texas the state with the second-highest absolute number of pet owners.

Brecht said, “I see this as my opportunity to help with the issue of general cleanliness that I know exists after living in this community for 25 years. Becoming a franchisee with Scoop Soldiers also allows me to be an integral part of the community I reside in, and I’m looking forward to getting started.”

The new signing is part of Scoop Soldiers’ plan to sign between 15 and 20 new agreements in 2022 following phenomenal growth last year that more than doubled the brand’s franchise locations throughout the country.

Scoop Soldiers offers a proven business model, low-cost startup investment and a high-margin opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs. Additionally, the brand prides itself on the support it offers franchisees.

“When somebody calls the office, it’s one-and-done,” said Cahill. “We do everything we can so our franchisees don’t have to deal with clients’ needs on a regular basis whatsoever. We’re able to tailor the channels of communication to their leadership team and their managers so their involvement remains focused on running the business and building a team of employees who can help them be successful.”

Scoop Soldiers also handles all of the billing and invoicing for its franchisees, as well as leading, sales, marketing and website management. Service schedules are built by Scoop Soldiers and are done so in a way that provides the most efficiency for franchisees.

The total cost to invest in Scoop Soldiers ranges from $61,300 to $111,300 per territory. To learn more about franchising with Scoop Soldiers, visit:
