Maid Right, the eco-friendly residential cleaning franchise with 50+ locations open throughout the U.S., is actively seeking franchisees in the Oklahoma City area after recently expanding into the neighboring Texas market earlier this year.

Maid Right is looking toward Oklahoma City because of the city’s strong growth potential and ideal consumer demographics. The city features 242,748 households, 60% of which are single-family households with a median home value of $158,500 — a prime demographic for residential cleaning services.

Since Maid Right has yet to establish a presence in the city, there is wide-open territory availability in a metropolitan area in which many of the brand’s competitors are already sold out. Currently, Maid Right has three territories available in the Oklahoma City area.

While Oklahoma City-based franchisees will be Maid Right’s first representatives in the area, they will still benefit from the solid backing of Premium Service Brands, which also oversees operations for the service-based franchises 360º Painting, ProLift Garage Doors, Handyman Pro, Kitchen Wise, Rubbish Works and Renew Crew. The Premium Services Brand team oversees each Maid Right franchise and assists owners in building their own successful businesses.

Additionally, Oklahoma City is a natural extension of Maid Right’s growing footprint, which recently entered the Austin, Texas market for the first time. Lisa Parks, a Maid Right franchisee in Austin, spent 20 years in advertising helping local businesses grow, and providing top-notch service in the radio, television and digital spaces. When Parks’ neighbor, a franchise consultant for FranNet, told her she would make a great business owner, she decided to look into franchising.

“I felt like it was time for me to start something new,” said Parks. “I wanted to be part of a community of other owners across the country, which led me to franchising.”

Parks knew she wanted to enter the booming home services space and, when she found Maid Right, it aligned perfectly with her goals. “I didn’t want a brick-and-mortar business, and I wanted to provide a necessary service to those who needed it,” she said. “With residential cleaning in particular, I’ve had mixed experiences, and I felt like my community needed an option that was at a higher level of customer service. Also, I wanted my business to create a relationship with clients longer than a one-time service.”

Maid Right’s turnkey business model, support, equipment and supplies allow franchisees to build those long-lasting customer relationships from day one. Plus, maid service is a repeat-referral business model that can scale quickly. As a home-based business, Maid Right also provides franchisees like Parks with a flexible business opportunity that doesn’t require a brick-and-mortar location.

It wasn’t only the proven business model that attracted Parks to Maid Right  — she also recognized the growing demand for the brand’s eco-friendly cleaning services. Homeowners and small business owners alike are searching for differentiated sanitization services that kill viruses, a need that Maid Right can respond to with their EcoLab disinfectant sprays that have been EPA-approved to kill the coronavirus and their proprietary disinfectant spray, MR Shield. Maid Right also appeals to the demand for green and sustainable cleaning services — as opposed to the harsh chemicals often used by the competition, Maid Right stands out with the use of fully eco-friendly and biodegradable products.

Parks opened her Maid Right location in May 2021 and says her main goal now is to continue to grow her business in Austin and the surrounding area. “I want to grow relationships, embed myself in the community and eventually offer other service options from the Premium Service Brands family to become an entire home solution,” she said.

A Maid Right owner in Oklahoma City could also diversify their portfolio with multiple Premium Service Brands concepts and cross-promote the various businesses to expand their customer base in the city and fulfill a variety of the homeowner’s needs.

Iric Wexler, Chief Development Officer for Premium Service Brands, says prospects in the Oklahoma City area have the opportunity to replicate Parks’ success and bring the brand’s uniquely well-positioned consumer offering to a new market.

“Especially right now, Premium Service Brands’ home-based services resonate in every market, but Oklahoma City is specifically primed for franchise growth,” said Wexler. “With plenty of market availability, a proven concept and the support of an experienced multi-brand parent company, prospective franchisees have a great opportunity to bring the much-needed services to the Oklahoma City community.”

The investment for a Maid Right franchise ranges from $$99,100 to $144,500, with a franchise fee of $65,000. For more info, visit https://www.premiumservicebrands.com/maid-right/.
