Melting Pot, the 90-unit fondue franchise that was started in Florida 50 years ago, is now looking to grow in the Lansing, Michigan, area. With multiple restaurants already established in Michigan, Melting Pot is looking to expand its presence further and has identified Lansing, Ann Arbor and Canton as prime markets.
Thanks to robust data analysis, the brand is confident it would perform well in the Lansing area.
"I've actually been up to the area and seen the parts of the state of Michigan that we really think are going to be great spaces to join and bring a franchise to," Collin Benyo, franchise growth strategist, told the Lansing State Journal. “I've actually had internal candidates talk to me about Lansing, so that's why I'm excited about it.”
While Melting Pot is open to candidates who do not have hospitality backgrounds, the team is focused on growing with driven, well-connected entrepreneurs who have the resources and relationships necessary to lead a successful restaurant launch.
