<a href="http://mooyahfranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=mooyah-eyes-south-carolina-tennessee-for-franchise-expansion-861" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">MOOYAH</a>, a fast-casual, &#8220;better burger,&#8221; fries and shakes chain, announced a focused growth plan targeting South Carolina and Tennessee. The quickly expanding burger brand, through the leadership of local development agent Dick Ren, will first concentrate on expansion throughout the Columbia, S.C., and Nashville markets, which can hold five units each. This expansion will add 125 jobs throughout each city as the development plan gets underway.

MOOYAH will focus on opening locations in Columbia and Nashville prior to expanding throughout surrounding areas. This development strategy was first established in the Dallas market, where MOOYAH currently boasts 24 locations.

&#8220;MOOYAH recently opened its 65th restaurant in the United States, and the brand will maintain that strong North American growth through targeted development of individual markets,&#8221; chief operating officer Michael Mabry said. &#8220;Through our local developer, Dick Ren, we have the ability to penetrate a market with someone embedded within the local business community.&#8221;

In the past several years, MOOYAH grew outward from its base in Texas into an emerging national player and leader in the growing better-burger segment of fast casual. The brand currently has 65 restaurants in 16 states and plans to open 10 more by the end of the year, bringing the system to 75 overall in the United States. In 2015, MOOYAH aims to end the year with 100 restaurants across the country.
