The quickly expanding burger brand, through the leadership of experienced development agent Jay Hummer, will add between 20 and 30 jobs per location throughout the Northeast as the development plan is met over the next three years.

&#8220;MOOYAH has the best product in the better burger category, which has led to the fiercely loyal following that we have created in the markets where we currently exist,&#8221; Hummer said. &#8220;Now we&#8217;re looking for qualified franchise prospects to help bring MOOYAH&#8217;s exceptional burgers and customer service to more communities across the Northeast.&#8221;

With the success that MOOYAH is experiencing with its restaurants in Connecticut and New Jersey, Hummer hopes to build on the fast-casual brand&#8217;s positive momentum by focusing on developments in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. A restaurant is currently slated to open in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 2015, and the brand plans to add 15 units in the greater Boston area, at least five units in Greater Springfield and five restaurants in Rhode Island.

&#8220;Paired with our strong North American growth, strong and targeted individual market development is increasingly a large part of our strategic expansion plans,&#8221; said Michael Mabry, MOOYAH&#8217;s chief operating officer. &#8220;Through the local developer Jay Hummer, we have the ability to penetrate a market with someone embedded within the local business community.&#8221;

MOOYAH saw tremendous growth in the last several years, expanding from a Texas brand into an emerging national player and leader in the growing &#8220;better burger&#8221; segment of fast-casual dining. The brand currently has 65 restaurants in 16 states and plans to open 10 more by the end of the year, bringing the system to 75 overall in the United States. In 2015, MOOYAH aims to end the year with 100 restaurants across the country.

What do you want us to know?Giovanni Cosentino:&nbsp;My father was a dentist for almost 45 years in the Hudson Valley, and I admired his work ethic and his ability to make people smile with his sense of humor and skill. I grew up locally and earned my degree at Purchase College here in Westchester County. I’ve always wanted to be helpful to others, doing something similar to what my father was able to achieve, but in my own way.&nbsp;I’ve always been an independent person and a leader, managing people and projects really well. If something has my name on it, it will be good work. That's how I live my life: doing the best I can at whatever I put my hands to.1851: What did you do before franchising, and how did you decide franchising made sense for you?Cosentino:&nbsp;I spent nearly 10 years in my career as an executive assistant and project manager, but unfortunately, layoffs impacted my position at the end of 2024.Following that, the job search felt different from any other time. I looked at my skill set and knew my experience would translate well into business ownership. I realized this was an opportune time to bet on myself.1851:&nbsp;What made you pick this brand?
