"Burgers and fries are still great."</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">Checkers is looking to double from 33 to 63 stores in the region, said chief development officer Jennifer Durham. The team is starting with restaurants inside Wal-Mart stores and the company recently opened a new location in Sanford.</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">"The reason that Checkers exists is that we have bold flavors at an amazing value," Durham said.
