People Are Using Google “Near Me” Searches to Choose Restaurants

The use of this Google Maps function has reportedly increased by over 200 percent.

According to a recent article in Fast Casual, the study found that finding nearby store locations was one of the top five uses for the function. 82 percent of participants in the report said that they have used the app for one of these searches. Amongst millennial participants, that proportion was higher, reaching 92 percent.
