Frederick said the idea came as a result of the pandemic, which led many brands to seek opportunities that would create a smaller operational footprint.As a result of the new program, Frederick said, “sales are doubling compared to previous hotel restaurants because of all the streams of revenue.” The hotels are selling pizzas both to customers in-house and through food delivery apps, so they’re able to bring in outside delivery revenue, as well. Frederick added that hotel conversion was very appealing to them because hotel operators are already in a franchise system focused on hospitality.&nbsp;Pizzeria Uno has already launched new locations in hotels in Detroit, northern Indiana and Chicago.
