Pool Scouts Celebrates Q3 2023 with 49% Systemwide Revenue Growth and Expansion into New Territories

“The past couple of years have been incredibly robust from a pool construction standpoint across the country,” said Michael Wagner, President of Pool Scouts. “Lots of new pools have been built, and they need us to take care of them. Notably, Pool Scouts' services per customer has grown this year, which Wagner says is largely due to the team’s ongoing commitment to innovation. For example, this year has seen the introduction of several new pool services to Pool Scouts’ portfolio, including liner replacement, safety cover installations and pool refinishing referrals. 

"We are capturing new customers, but we are also capturing more of the wallet from the recurring customer base that we already have — leading indicators of a healthy business,” said Wagner. “We want a bigger piece of the backyard. Last year, we averaged 18 services per customer. That number is growing in 2023.”

In the realm of franchise development, Pool Scouts proudly added three new franchisees in the third quarter, expanding its reach to Greenville and Summerville, SC, and making its debut in Indianapolis, IN. With seven new franchisees onboarded in total this year and three more locations set to open before year-end, the brand's momentum shows no signs of slowing down.

This year, Pool Scouts raised over $26,000, nearly doubling last year's contribution of $16,000.

With so much to celebrate, Pool Scouts is looking forward to its 2023 annual Pool Scouts Convention in Cancún, Mexico, scheduled for November 1-4, promising strategic planning and collaboration with existing franchisees. Wagner says the event will be a prime opportunity for franchisees to engage with colleagues, learn about important best-practice business topics, network with vendors and plan for 2024. 

Looking ahead, Pool Scouts aims to close out 2023 strong with four new franchisees added in key markets around the country as pool owners consistently turn to the growing brand for service.
