Quick-service franchises offer employees a way forward.
For Americans seeking employment, quick-service restaurants should no longer be perceived as the bottom of the barrel, according to QSR. The news source recently highlighted the many opportunities that go beyond “burger flipping” in today’s foodservice segment.
“Despite the challenges in terms of the reputation of the industry externally, employees really do feel like they have an opportunity to move around and upscale pretty quickly,” Steve Kramer, vice president of communications for the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF), told QSR. “Employees really feel like they’re rewarded for hard work.”
Survey results from NRAEF show that 75 percent of employees believe restaurants offer them a career path of upward mobility.
