QSR: Penn Station East Coast Subs Release Athlete of the Year Winners

Penn Station East Coast Subs has announced its Athlete of the Year program winners, awarding nearly $10,000 in total scholarship prizes, according to QSR Magazine.

Franchisees in six participating markets choose quarterly or monthly winners based on submissions. Those students receive a catered party, t-shirt, gift certificates and a custom trophy and plaque. One scholarship winner is then chosen at the end of the year.

“Our Athlete of the Year program allows franchisees to give back to deserving students in their area,” said Craig Dunaway, president of Penn Station. “As college becomes more and more expensive, these scholarships are a great way to reward students who excel both in the classroom and in athletics.”
