When the first Ruby’s Diner location opened its doors for business over three decades ago, it set out on a mission to prove that the “good old days” of serving up high-quality food in a classic 1940’s Americana style are still here. That’s why there was a strong emphasis on the menu from day one—founder Doug Cavanaugh established a simple line up of hamburgers, French fries and milkshakes that combined nostalgia with modern day innovation and ingredients. It was that unique combination that initially made consumers across the world fall in love with the Ruby’s brand. And now, with 36 restaurants up and running in communities across the country, it’s clear that Ruby’s Diner has what diners want!

Even though Ruby’s Diner was founded on the classic staples of American dining, the brand has proven over the years that it’s not afraid to get creative. Whether it’s upgrading its ingredients to ensure that its customers are being served the best quality food in the business or rolling out a 3.5 pound burger topped with onion rings, cheese, guacamole, tater tots, jalapeños and bacon for its Stack Attack Challenge Tour, the brand is constantly making an effort to enhance its menu and generate buzz. That’s why Ruby’s Diner is introducing a trio of fall inspired flavors across its participating locations.

The new, limited time offer menu is designed to bring the best of fall flavors to Ruby’s Diner and encourage repeat visits all season long. And with menu items like a Deluxe Grilled Cheese, Fall Melody Soup, a Turkey Meatball Ciabatta and a Thanksgiving Turkey Burger in its lineup, there’s no doubt that this limited menu will achieve its goal.

Ruby’s Diner’s Thanksgiving Turkey Burger ensures that it’s Thanksgiving all day long for customers, which is definitely something to be thankful for. The brand’s hand-made turkey patty is smothered with two slices of Swiss cheese and then topped with classic Thanksgiving stuffing and cranberry sauce. The Deluxe Grilled Cheese also kicks the classic dish up a notch—the fan favorite sandwich is served on two slices of sourdough parmesan bread and stacked high with cheddar and Swiss cheese. It pairs perfectly with Ruby’s Fall Melody soup, which is a sweet combination of parsnips and carrots. Guests can also order the Fall Melody soup in a cup or bowl to enjoy on its own.

Lastly, Ruby’s Turkey Arrabiata Ciabatta is a masterpiece for the fall season. The sandwich is made from a hand formed patty of ground turkey and turkey sausage that’s then combined with Montreal seasoning, garlic mayo, fresh mozzarella slices, basil pesto and Arrabiata sauce on a ciabatta bun. Ruby’s also has a variety of pumpkin LTO items currently on its menu, including its Pumpkin Hot Cakes, Pumpkin Waffles and Pumpkin Shake. The items, which are meant to bring the best of fall flavors to Ruby’s customers, will be available until November 26.

While setting a new standard for customer service is always top of mind for Ruby’s franchisees and employees, those efforts are being taken to a new level this month. In addition to launching its new seasonal offerings, the brand is also celebrating guests at its Irvine Spectrum Center and Mission Valley Mall locations with a special line up of guest appreciation events. For 30 days, these two Ruby’s Diner restaurants are hosting family-friendly events and food and drink specials to honor the local communities whose ongoing support continues to move the brand forward.

Ruby’s Diner in Mission Valley is offering kids free milkshakes on October 2 and 9, hosting a Military Appreciation Weekend between October 7 and 8 where active members and veterans receive 20 percent off their bill and throwing a pumpkin painting party on October 17 to prepare for Halloween. The brand’s restaurant in Irvine Spectrum, on the other hand, is hosting a paint your own pumpkin party on October 3, make your own Spooky Slime event on October 10 and a make a “Ghoul-oon” event on October 17.

These events—along with others that are planned—are designed to support and engage the communities that Ruby’s Diner calls home. And by tying some events back to the brand’s charitable arm, The Ruby Dooby Foundation, the brand will also be using its guest appreciation events to give back.

“Celebrating the guests who continue to support us and make our success possible is a top priority every single day. But between September and October, it’s an honor to roll out even more promotions and special offers to our customers,” said Cavanaugh. “We’re looking forward to seeing both new and returning faces for our fun lineup of events, and we’re eager to introduce them to our fall menu items.  There’s also no doubt that the combination of the two will reignite a spark surrounding the Ruby’s Diner brand that will position us for growth and success as we aim to close out the year on a high note.”

Fall flavor menu items will only be available at participating Ruby’s Diner locations through November 26. And for a full list of promotions and events happening at your local Ruby’s restaurant, click here.
