Forbes: The Best & Worst Franchises to Buy 2018

School of Rock ranks second in the Medium Investment category.

Forbes understands franchising is an ever-evolving industry. That's why each year it ranks the best and worst franchises in order to help potential franchisees weigh the risks and rewards of joining the industry. This year, School of Rock made its debut on the list, ranked number two under the best Medium Investment Franchise Category.

The ranking is based on a FRANdata analysis of 3,300 active brands which are then narrowed to 60 brands. These final brands are then ranked best to worst in the following categories: system sustainability, system demand, value for investment, franchisor support and franchisor stability.

School of Rock has start-up costs ranging from $136,850 to $339,100 with 207 unit currently open in 10 countries.
