The Sharon Herald: Business Allows Senior Caregivers to Assist Their Peers

Senior care franchise, Seniors Helping Seniors® makes a special impact on the Hermitage community.

According to an article in the Sharon Herald, Seniors Helping Seniors® franchise owners and husband-and-wife duo, Rob and Elizabeth McGoff believe the home health-care service is truly special to the senior community, which makes up for 24 percent of their county alone. The McGoffs chose to franchise with Seniors Helping Seniors® because they believe helping seniors is a way of life; and what better way to do so than by helping with able senior caregivers.

“Having a senior caregiver is a game-changer,” Rob told the Sharon Herald. “That’s really what makes the company special.” He also mentioned that clients and caregivers are paired by their personality in order to ensure compatibility and long-lasting relationships.

From meal preparation, accompanying doctor’s appointments and overnight stays, Rob told the Sharon Herald they almost never say no to a client’s request. “I would never pass anyone up solely on age,” Rob said.

The senior-care concept practices employing senior caregivers in pursuit of its mission to ensure its senior clients live fulfilled, independent lives. The McGoffs have spent the past year brightening the lives of senior clients and caregivers in Hermitage, Pennsylvania and the Shenango Valley.

“The difference in our business is the caregivers—they genuinely want to help people,” said Rob of his hardworking, compassionate staff. “The level of love, empathy and care they put into their work is unmatched by that of any other company.”
