The emerging drywall concept expands from its home base in Columbus with a low-cost franchise opportunity.

Speedy Patch Drywall Repair, the emerging drywall repair franchise, is preparing to expand its footprint throughout the U.S., leveraging its low-cost franchise opportunity to make the most of the booming home services industry. First up in the brand’s expansion tour is the state of Ohio, where Speedy Patch seeks passionate and qualified franchise candidates in Cleveland, Akron, Dayton and beyond.
“We’ve experienced so much demand for this franchise opportunity from both experienced and aspiring franchisees, but we’re being very careful about where we expand first, “said Christian Cagle, Speedy Patch’s CEO and co-founder. “We’re not interested in signing franchise deals and then just letting the owners sink or swim; we work very closely with our franchise owners to ensure their success. Our headquarters is in Columbus, so by expanding first throughout other cities in Ohio, we can ensure the best and most direct support and resources for our owners.”
Beyond the support offered by the franchise’s corporate team, Speedy Patch franchise owners throughout Ohio will also benefit from the wealth of positive brand awareness the company has earned throughout the state.
“Our growth as a company so far can be attributed almost entirely to word-of-mouth referrals,” Cagle said. “People just love us. Just about every new customer leads us to additional customers, so we’ve found exponential and organic growth with very little marketing.”
That positive brand awareness is likely due in large part to Speedy Patch’s rapid service, which Cagle says is a key differentiator from competitors in the space while also helping to minimize costs for franchise owners.
“One thing we found early on when studying our competition is that most drywall repair brands will complete a job over multiple trips when that’s really not necessary,” Cagle said. “We saw that as a major opportunity to differentiate ourselves and reduce the amount of labor required for any given job. Not only do we complete nearly all jobs in a single visit, but we will also schedule jobs so they can be completed back-to-back in a single trip.”
As Speedy Patch prepares to launch franchise territories in markets throughout Ohio, Cagle says his team is looking primarily for franchise owners who align with the brand’s mission and values.
“Because our operational model is so simple and our training is so effective, you don’t need to be a career drywall repair professional to be successful with our brand,” he said. “You need to be smart, you need to work hard, and most importantly, you need to be laser-focused on customer satisfaction. We built our brand on delivering a better service and customer experience than our competitors, so our franchise owners must live up to that. If they do, this is absolutely one of the most valuable franchise opportunities available.”
