In a recent viral TikTok, Subway franchisee Amanda (@amarx76) appealed to Minnesota locals to apply to become “sandwich artists” at her store. Over an instrumental for Nicki Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl,” the TikToker offered instructions on how to apply for the position.
The now-viral video has sparked a debate in the video’s comments about the brand’s pay and work conditions, with many commenters detailing their negative experiences working for the company.
Through several scandals and brand refreshes, Subway has recently struggled to solidify its positioning in the QSR segment.
