The Daily Herald: Utah Entrepreneurs Are Starting to Consider the Franchise Model

FranNet Consultant Alexis Courtney explains why franchising is a good option for new entrepreneurs in Utah.

According to a recent study by CNBC, Provo was among the top 10 places to start a business in the nation.

“If you want to be a business owner, but don’t have a product or skill, franchising is a very good option,” said Alexis Courtney, Salt Lake City-based franchise consultant with FranNet. “The franchise wants to train you in their procedures, so for many franchises, you don’t even need experience in the industry.”

Courtney focuses on matching up potential franchisees with franchises that best match their interests, level of involvement, and skills. Before Courtney started he FranNet career, she owned multiple franchises, local business owners find her knowledge very helpful.
