The News-Herald: The Cleaning Authority Opens New Location in Mentor

Matt Renfro decided to open his own The Cleaning Authority location after a career in banking.

After a rewarding but time consuming career in banking, Matt Renfro decided to pursue business ownership with The Cleaning Authority.

Renfro recently earned his masters degree in business administration from Lake Erie College and felt he had gained the knowledge necessary to own his own business. According to the News-Herald, Renfro is one of 208 franchisees with The Cleaning Authority. Of those, 135 hold MBA degrees.

Renfro told the News-Herald that he wanted a proven system, not a start-up and chose The Cleaning Authority, at 7541 Mentor Ave., Suite A103 in Mentor, as his business concept because he wants to give time back to citizens whose busy schedules can be freed up a bit to enjoy their lives.

“The Cleaning Authority started franchising in October of 1996 and Matt is the kind of ambitious and skilled, top-shelf guy that diligently provides a layered management structure which ensures corporate success,” said Chief Development Officer Iric Wexler. “Our expansion with franchisees like Matt not only strengthens the brand, but represents a constant investment in evolving the model.
