TruBlue Welcomes Nick Wilson as New Vice President of Operations

Wilson’s blend of franchise experience, strategic insight and dedication to TruBlue’s mission promises to elevate the brand to new heights.

TruBlue Home Service Ally, a leading provider of home maintenance and senior modification services, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Nick Wilson as the new vice president of operations. With a wealth of experience in both franchise management and logistics, Wilson brings a dynamic and strategic approach to his new role.

Starting his career as a franchisee for Verizon Wireless and T-Mobile right out of college, Wilson gained invaluable insights into the franchisee perspective. “I know what it’s like to be in the franchisee seat,” he said.

Over the past six years, Wilson served as the chief revenue officer at a logistics firm in Cincinnati. “Logistics is very similar to being a franchisor in that you are a third-party that connects partners but doesn’t control their activities directly,” he said. “I am very excited about how I can bring those skills to growing TruBlue to new heights and bringing new owners to enterprise-level business.”

Wilson’s decision to join TruBlue was influenced by the company’s mission and the team at the home office. “I had the opportunity to make a change and I was fortunate enough to take my time,” he said. “The reason I chose to go with TruBlue was because the team at the home office really believed in the mission of assisting seniors.”

Similarly, Wilson says he could tell TruBlue distinguishes itself in the home services industry by offering a premium level of service

"TruBlue represents a premium level of service unheard of in the handyman industry,” said Wilson. “Every technician is background checked, bonded and insured because we value service above all else. Additionally, we are present in the senior space with strategic partnerships that handymen don’t usually have.”

TruBlue’s focus on senior home safety and Home Ally Maintenance Plans underscores its commitment to comprehensive and reliable service. “We are one of the few organizations that can do senior home safety assessments, and we also offer a maintenance plan that is bar-none the most comprehensive in the industry for both busy adults and seniors aging in place,” Wilson said.

Now, in his new role as vice president of operations, Wilson is enthusiastic about several key initiatives designed to support franchisees. “We are very excited to be revamping the KPI process to make it easier for franchisees to manage their business,” he said. “We are also very excited about the new developments we’ve made for the maintenance program. We are now starting to see that penetrate nationwide.”

Looking ahead, Wilson has ambitious plans for TruBlue’s growth. “We are hoping to be at 200 locations by the end of 2025,” he said. “We’d very much like to quadruple the number of franchisees we have in the Winner’s Circle, and we’re confident these developments will do that.”

Outside of his professional life, Wilson is preparing to tie the knot and is a devoted father and Cubmaster to his eight-and-a-half-year-old son. His personal dedication to family values aligns perfectly with TruBlue’s mission of providing top-tier service and care to seniors and busy adults.

“I bring a new level of enthusiasm and energy to the brand,” Wilson said. “Having driven many business leaders to success in the past, I’m very excited to apply the same type of skills and coaching abilities to franchisees.”

With a clear vision for the future, TruBlue is poised for unprecedented growth, further solidifying its status as a leader in the home care sector.
