<a href="http://mosquitojoefranchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=upstate-business-journal-mosquito-joe-targets-south-carolina-for-growth-6099" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Mosquito Joe</a>, based out of Norfolk, Va., presently has three locations in the state but none yet in the Upstate.&nbsp;

Their locations in Charleston, Columbia and Lexington have been thriving after a busy year, tending to local Zika and West Nile concerns. According to COO Brian Garrison, the mosquito control service has targeted as many as five new locations in the area.&nbsp;

&ldquo;The concept of commercial mosquito control has really taken off during the past five years, particularly in the Southeast,&rdquo; said Garrison. &ldquo;When we look at the Greenville-Spartanburg area, it&rsquo;s a very attractive market for us because the cities are outdoor-oriented.&quot;

Right now, Mosquito Joe is seeking to partner with the right franchisee at the local level to help spur the brand&#39;s presence in Spartanburg and Greenville.&nbsp;
