Wendy's Celebrates 25 Years of SpongeBob SquarePants with Krabby Patty Kollab Menu Items

In partnership with Paramount, Wendy's is offering a limited-time Krabby Patty Kollab Burger and Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, available nationwide starting October 8.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants, Wendy's announced in a recent press release that it is partnering with Paramount to launch the "Krabby Patty Kollab," a limited-time offering that will be available starting October 8. The promotion includes two new menu items: the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger and the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty. These items will be available at Wendy's locations across the U.S., Canada and Guam, marking a notable collaboration between the fast-food chain and the beloved animated franchise.

The Krabby Patty Kollab Burger is Wendy's take on the famous fictional sandwich from SpongeBob SquarePants, featuring a quarter-pound of Wendy's signature fresh, never-frozen beef, along with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions and a top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce, all served on a premium toasted bun. Accompanying the burger is the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, a new twist on Wendy's classic Vanilla Frosty, featuring a pineapple mango puree swirl.

This collaboration is part of a broader trend in which fast-food brands are leveraging popular culture to create unique promotions and drive customer engagement. Recent examples from the industry show that limited-time menu items tied to well-known franchises can generate significant buzz and boost sales. By capitalizing on the nostalgia and fan base of SpongeBob SquarePants, Wendy's aims to attract both loyal customers and fans of the show.

Fast-food brands have increasingly turned to special promotions and partnerships as a way to stand out in a competitive market. These campaigns often involve tie-ins with movies, TV shows or other cultural phenomena, providing brands with an opportunity to tap into broader audiences.
