Why Renew Crew is a Viable Investment During an Economic Downturn

The outdoor surface cleaning franchise has seen growth in sales as it continues to weather the pandemic.

As the country continues to navigate its way through an unforeseen recession, many business owners are struggling to decide whether or not to close their doors. However, members of the cleaning service industry are not wavering. For Renew Crew, a Missouri-based outdoor surface cleaning franchise, business is booming.

Renew Crew, who operates under Premium Service Brands and is the industry leader in eco-friendly outdoor surface cleaning, protection and restoration, leverages its 20-plus years of experience to help franchisees achieve their career goals. Now the brand is working harder than ever to give franchisees the support they need to not only survive the effects of a pandemic, but to thrive within the current economic landscape.

Franchisees are seeing great success, including an overall 47% aggregate system revenue in July 2020, compared to July 2019. Jerry Lesh, who is the owner of Springfield's Renew Crew and has been with the brand for six years, is up 54% in his personal business in 2020.

“Since Renew Crew became part of the Premium Services Brands family, the support from the corporate coaches and team has been amazing in helping us stay focused on goals,” said Lesh. “The bi-weekly meetings and constant communication with the leadership team helps us achieve success by staying on task.”

Lesh isn’t the only franchisee seeing success: Eric and Kevin McVey from Fort Smith, Arkansas are up 17% in their business; Dean Ritchey from Lincoln, Nebraska is up 55%; and Massimo Melandri, who started his business in April in Sugarland, Texas amid the chaos of the pandemic, has already seen marked success as well.

Under the guidance of Premium Services Brands, Renew Crew is able to offer franchisees training and guidance from an experienced corporate leadership team, eliminating many of the challenges small-business owners face — which has been especially helpful during COVID-19. The brand also equips franchisees with a network of peers to lean on within the company. This support provides new owners with the chance to learn from years of experience.

“PSB invests in brands and business models that have seen proven success, and that’s exactly why we’re always excited to work with Renew Crew,” said Paul Flick, CEO and founder of Premium Service Brands. “As our country and the world at large continues to persevere through the uphill battle the coronavirus pandemic has been, it’s inspiring to see brands like Renew Crew be so resilient and pursue growth and success in an otherwise dark time.”

During the COVID-19 crisis, it has become increasingly clear that nothing is predictable. But with such a strong support system and strong business model, Renew Crew has proven itself as a strong and resilient investment opportunity.

Today, Renew Crew features 29 units nationwide and continues to grow, with five units opened in 2019 and 10 slated to open in 2020. Additionally, Premium Service Brands has signed on with 12 franchisees for a total of 14 territories.

The average Renew Crew investment ranges from $100,000 to $150,000, with a franchise fee of $60,000. For more information, visit:
