This holiday season, retail franchise Wireless Zone© is once again partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign to give back to those in need on a local and national level. As part of its mission to bring joy and inspire hope in less fortunate children, Toys for Tots delivers new toys to children across the nation who would otherwise receive none. This holiday season marks Wireless Zone©’s sixth straight year partnering with Toys for Tots. The majority of the brand’s 370-plus retail locations have collection bins for customers and community members to contribute to until mid-December.
Over its 61-year history, Toys for Tots has delivered over 251 million to children with more than 548 million toys, including a whopping 18 million toys distributed last holiday season. Wireless Zone© has contributed thousands of toys to the charity since the partnership began in 2012 and the brand continues to prioritize and grow the initiative throughout its system as the need only continues to grow. More than 15 million American children now live below the poverty line, which makes these donations even more critical during the 2018 holiday season and beyond. Through expanded partnerships with community-minded organizations like Wireless Zone©, Toys for Tots is aiming to break last year’s donation record.

Marine Corps Toys for Tots has been listed as a top charity in the Philanthropy 400, earned a Charity Navigators four-star rating, and was accredited by the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance. The organization accepts donations with few parameters and keeps things simple by asking that people apply the same logic they would when selecting an appropriate gift for their own child or relative. Toys for Tots also asks that people consider gifts appropriate for older children as well as toddlers.

Through the Wireless Zone Foundation for Giving© that was founded in 2003, the brand partners with several other national organizations systemwide, including Autism Speaks, Feeding America, Children’s Tumor Foundation, Veterans Leadership Program, and Center for Hospice Care, among others.
